69M La Liga Star Keen On PL Switch As Liverpool Are Handed Massive Boost In Attempt To Sign Player

Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez is interested in playing in the Premier League, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with Liverpool, as well as Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City in recent weeks, and it appears that he is very much open to a move to England.

Niguez is looking for a new challenge, and it has led to Atletico pursuing Udinese’s Rodrigo De Paul as a potential replacement. The La Liga champions do, though, need the money from Niguez’s sale to complete the deal.

It means that the Spanish side could be willing to sell for below the €80m (£69m) figure that some reports have suggested as being the player’s price tag.

Liverpool are believed to be keen on signing a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum but it is important to emphasise that Niguez’s valuation would have to come down significantly in order for him to become a realistic target.
