Adrian And Gomez To Start, Alisson Misses Out: Liverpool’s Predicted Line Up To Face Arsenal

With Alisson Becker struggling to overcome an injury problem, deputy Adrian may well have to step in when Liverpool face Arsenal at Anfield this evening.

In the backline, Joe Gomez is likely to come back into the starting line up after missing the win against Chelsea last weekend due to a knee injury. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson should return to the eleven after being rested for the Carabao Cup tie on Thursday, with Virgil van Dijk partnering Gomez in the middle of defence.

Manager Jurgen Klopp does have a wealth of options in midfield but with Thiago a doubt for the match, Fabinho may move back into a more familiar role as the holding midfielder, with Naby Keita and Georginio Wijnaldum playing either side of him.

Up front, it should be the usual suspects, with Roberto Firmino through the middle, Sadio Mane coming in off the left flank and Mohamed Salah playing from the right-hand side.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Arsenal:

Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Keita, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane
