Alexander Arnold And Fabinho In, Thiago On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play RB Leipzig

Tomorrow night’s fixture in Budapest is now Liverpool’s biggest game of the season. If Jurgen Klopp‘s men give up their 2 goal advantage, and crash out of the Champions League, their campaign is over at the beginning of March.

Klopp’s selection choices for the 1-0 defeat to Fulham at the weekend suggests he has already given up on the Premier League, and he is putting all his focus on the match against RB Leipzig.

Alisson will start in goal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold returning in place of Neco Williams at right-back. Andy Robertson is expected to play at left-back, with Fabinho likely to play alongside Ozan Kabak in the centre of defence.

In midfield, Klopp may keep faith with Naby Keita after the Guinean looked the best of a bad bunch against Fulham. Georginio Wijnaldum could play the holding midfield role, and the leadership qualities of James Milner could be favoured ahead of Thiago.

With Roberto Firmino struggling with his fitness, we may see Diogo Jota play through the middle, with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane playing either side of him.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face RB Leipzig:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Kabak, Fabinho, Robertson, Keita, Wijnaldum, Milner, Salah, Jota, Mane
