Alexander Arnold And Keita To Start, Gomez And Fabinho Out, Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a selection headache after the news that Fabinho will be out until the New Year with an ankle injury.

At his pre-match press conference, the German named Adam Lallana, Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson as the three players who could replace the Brazilian in the holding midfield position.

Tomorrow’s game against Brighton will be an intriguing encounter with Graham Potter having got the Seagulls playing some good football, so Klopp has some decisions to make for the starting line up.

In defence, Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to replace Joe Gomez after being rested against Napoli midweek. Dejan Lovren, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson will likely keep their places.

Naby Keita could well get his chance to impress in midfield. Klopp has confirmed that the midfielder is ok to play after going down with an illness. Wijnaldum may be favoured in the deeper role, with the Guinean and Henderson playing either side of him.

It should be the same attack as usual, with Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane looking to get their shooting boots back on after being nullified versus Napoli.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Mane
