Alisson, Fabinho And Elliott To Start, Thiago On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Leeds

With the situation surrounding Liverpool’s Brazilian players resolved, it is now expected that Alisson Becker will start in goal against Leeds at Elland Road tomorrow.

In defence, manager Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to make any changes from the Chelsea game, with Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk staying as the centre-back pairing. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are expected to line up in the two fullback positions.

Fabinho’s availability means the 27-year-old is likely to keep his place as the holding midfield player, with Jordan Henderson and Harvey Elliott also remaining in the starting lineup. Thiago may have to settle for a place on the bench once again, along with Naby Keita.

Up front, there will be one enforced change. Roberto Firmino is eligible to play but he picked up a hamstring injury before the international break and has already been ruled out to face Leeds.

It means Diogo Jota will almost certainly be named in the starting eleven, with Sadio Mane playing on the left flank and Mo Salah on the right-hand side.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Leeds:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Elliott, Fabinho, Henderson, Salah, Jota, Mane
