Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Dejan Lovren returned to full training yesterday and is in contention to play against Burnley on Sunday.
The Reds boss also said that Joe Gomez is on the comeback trail, and will definitely be back in action after the international break:
“Dejan trained yesterday for the first time, [in] full, completely normal. Joe is now running with 100 per cent of his weight because we have different opportunities to run. Now he is really at 100 per cent and it’s good, it looks good.”
“Most of the [returns] will probably be after the international break, for example, Joe and stuff like that.”
Fans are happy to see both players will be returning to the side very soon:
AOC close to a return. Lovren back in time for Bayern. Gomez back after the international break.
All good news.

Klopp did reveal, however, that James Milner is now a doubt for the weekend. The vice-captain has a slight muscle injury and is working with the fitness coaches to be fit for the Burnley game.
Rhian Brewster is also showing signs of progress with Klopp stating the player is three weeks behind Alex Oxlade Chamberlain’s recovery time.
With Oxlade-Chamberlain scheduled to play in an Under 23s match this evening, it seems we could see Brewster make a similar step up in his rehabilitation at the beginning of April.
