Liverpool have joined Tottenham and Chelsea in pursuing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Frenchman will have just six months remaining on his current deal next month and he could sign a pre-contract agreement with another club. However, Juve are hoping that the player’s strong World Cup will lead to bids in January.
It is believed that the Serie A club are holding out for a fee in the region of €10m (£9m) to €15m (£13m) for Rabiot. With the Reds keen on strengthening their midfield options next month, a move for the 27-year-old could be seriously considered but fans on Twitter are very much against the idea:
The club was always going for the budget option like Amrabat and Rabiot, forget Jude and Enzo never going to happen.

If we sign Rabiot or Mount this club is not serious anymore

It seems that we are trying to sign Juventus flops: first was Arthur and now Rabiot.

Although Rabiot did impress out in Qatar, he hasn’t exactly pulled up any trees since moving to Italy from PSG two and a half years ago. The fact that Juve are willing to let him leave without trying to tie him down to a new deal kind of tells you all you need to know.
