Arsenal Ace Walking Disciplinary Tightrope Heading Into Liverpool Clash

Liverpool may not come up against Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus next month if the Brazilian picks up a yellow card in the North London derby.

The forward has already picked up four bookings in seven league appearances and he will be handed an automatic one-match suspension if he gets another against Tottenham on Saturday week.

A trip to the Emirates is a daunting prospect for Jurgen Klopp’s side, who have struggled for form in the opening weeks of the season.

However, if Jesus is absent for the game, it would damage the Gunners’ chances of securing a win. The 25-year-old has been a key player since arriving from Manchester City in the summer, scoring four goals and contributing three assists.

The Brazilian international’s poor disciplinary record, though, could come back to haunt him. It’s rare for a number nine to be shown so many yellow cards but Jesus is known for his pressing and it seems he has already stepped over the mark too many times this campaign.
