BBC Pundit Calls On Liverpool To Put Their ‘Hand In Their Pockets’ For Arsenal Ace Who Is As Good As Foden

Liverpool and Manchester United should get their chequebooks out for Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, according to Garth Crooks.

The BBC pundit believes the 19-year-old is just as talented as Manchester City’s Phil Foden and would be deserving of a move to Anfield or Old Trafford based on his form this season:

“Manchester United or Liverpool don’t get their hand in their pockets and buy him there is something seriously wrong with them. Bukayo Saka has been outstanding for Arsenal all season. He was their only shining light against Villarreal on Thursday night and his performance against West Brom days later was devastating. Everybody is talking about Manchester City’s Phil Foden, this lad is just as good if not better.”

With the Gunners looking destined to finish midtable this campaign, Saka may well be open to leaving the Emirates in the future, if the club’s fortunes don’t turn around. However, at the moment, it’s difficult to see the Reds making a move for the player.

They were reportedly after the teenager before he signed a new contract with Arsenal last summer, but now he is tied down to a long-term deal, the funds that would be needed to sign the England international appear to be way beyond the club’s means.

Saka is clearly an outstanding young player and it will be very interesting to see how he develops over the coming years.
