BBC Pundit Claims Liverpool “Only” Need To Sign 218M Rated England Duo To Become “A Major European Force Again”

Liverpool are “only” two signings away from becoming “a major European force again”, according to BBC Pundit Garth Crooks.

Writing in his ‘Team of the Week’ column, Crooks says the Reds need to secure the signatures of England pair Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice to return to the summit of the game.

Rice is not believed to be a key target for Jurgen Klopp’s side, with the West Ham captain likely to move to either Arsenal or Chelsea this summer, with Manchester United and Newcastle having also been linked with the £85m rated midfielder.

Bellingham, however, is a different story. Liverpool have made him their number one priority, although they will have to see off challenges from Real Madrid and Manchester City to seal his signature.

His club, Borussia Dortmund, are also said to have slapped a €150m (£133m) price tag on the teenager, so it remains to be seen whether the Reds can stump up the cash.
