Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo does not have a “preference” in terms of who his next club will be, according to CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs.
Both Liverpool and Chelsea are said to be interested in the Ecuadorian international but, despite recently liking a social media post mentioning a potential move to Anfield, Jacobs says the player has no favoured destination:
Caicedo himself doesn’t have a sole preference (despite the social media frenzy via a recent liked post on #LFC). He’d be equally keen to reunite with Graham Potter or work under Jurgen Klopp, if #LFC chose to progress anything. Right now they haven’t.

It is believed that Chelsea are the more likely team to make an offer for Caicedo in January, while the Reds may only table a bid at the end of the season.
There has been some speculation that the Seagulls have dropped their asking price for the 21-year-old to £65m, although Jacobs feels the Seagulls have not yet set a valuation because they want to keep the player.
As it stands then, it looks as if Caicedo won’t be arriving on Merseyside anytime soon but, with more than two weeks left to go in the transfer window, things could still change.
