Besiktas Keen To Hand Over Chelsea Loanee If They Can Snap Up Liverpool Cult Hero

Besiktas are considering making an unorthodox loan exchange offer to Liverpool for Divock Origi, according to Fotomac.

The Turkish news outlet claims that the Super Lig side would allow the Reds to take over Michy Batshuayi’s loan deal in order to secure Origi’s services.

It is believed that the offer could tempt Liverpool for two reasons. Firstly, Besiktas have already paid their loan fee to Chelsea so Batschuayi wouldn’t cost the Merseyside club a thing.

Secondly, Origi would only move to Turkey on loan until the end of the season, when the Belgian would have the choice of renewing his contract with the Reds or signing on a free transfer for Besiktas.

Of course, Chelsea would need to approve this exchange, but it seems it is an option that is seriously being considered by Besiktas. It must be pointed that any story from Turkish sources should be treated with a large pinch of salt. Even so, it is still a surprising development.
