Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker more than justified his £67m price tag after a man of the match display in the Champions League final.
The Brazilian international was the first keeper to keep a clean sheet in the final for nine years, pulling off some very good saves to help the Reds to a 2-0 win.
Fans on Twitter were waxing lyrical about Alisson’s top drawer performance:

The Brazilian did not have to make any world-class stops during the match but as manager Jurgen Klopp said himself after the game, the 26-year-old makes difficult saves look easy. There were no mistakes as he prevented Tottenham from coming back into the game.
It was a stark contrast to last year’s final when Loris Karius’s mistakes cost Liverpool against Madrid. Alisson proved to be the difference and what a signing he has proven to be for the Merseyside club this season.
