Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is likely to be available on a free transfer next summer and it has been suggested that Liverpool should consider signing the player.
The 31-year-old is currently sidelined with a serious hamstring injury, which could keep him out until February and, despite being an excellent player, many fans on Twitter have reservations about bringing him to Anfield due to his fitness:
Kante is biscuit legs these days unfortunately and with Ox and Keita who are prime biscuit legs going we really don’t need one coming in

Do people realise this is Kante’s first long term injury? He’s pretty much been a starter since he moved to England with little to no injuries. I’d snap him up in a heart beat

he’s in his 30s and always injured, we’re ahead of Chelsea, why would we sign someone they’re willingly letting go?

Kante’s injury record over the past few seasons is pretty atrocious. He has missed SEVENTY matches since the beginning of the 2019/20 season alone and it appears his body is breaking down more and more often.
Combined with high salary demands and a lengthy contract, it would be a massive risk for the Reds to sign him, especially as their midfield has plenty of injury-prone players already. It’s probably safe to say that he won’t be moving to Anfield when his contract expires at the end of the season.
