Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has effectively ruled out any more signings ahead of the transfer deadline.
Speaking after the Reds were knocked out of the FA Cup by Brighton at the weekend, Klopp said the club won’t be active in the market before the window shuts on Tuesday:
“No, nothing will happen in this transfer window. That’s all. It’s all good.”
Understandably, after witnessing their side suffer another disappointing loss, fans on Twitter weren’t particularly pleased with Klopp’s remarks:
Bros in denial 😭

If Klopp thinks what we have is good enough to turn this around, it raises more questions than it answers. Several players aren't good enough or appear past it, major rebuild is required, starting with the obvious issues in midfield.

It’s not “all good” though Jurgen, is it???

Klopp says one thing but the performances and results are saying something different.

It does seem as if Klopp has written off this season and has given up any hope of qualifying for the Champions League. The team is clearly not playing well enough but the German doesn’t seem interested in making any more additions to the squad this month.
Of course, the club are not prone to panic buying and when they do sign players late in the window, they do generally end up being flops. There are, however, some long-term targets who are still available. A notable absentee from Brighton’s starting lineup was Moises Caicedo, who is pressing for a move, but there will be stern competition from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea for his signature.
