Burnley V Liverpool: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Anfield Stadium

Liverpool play in the late kick-off this evening at Turf Moor hoping to make it four wins out of four before the international break. Burnley is always a tough place to go to but Jurgen Klopp’s men will be fully prepared for the test.

Their opponents are coming into the game off the back of a creditable away draw at Wolves in the league, and the Reds will have to fight hard to get the three points.

The Merseyside club have three injuries heading into the match. First choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker is still out with a calf injury, so Adrian will continue to deputise.

Naby Keita is still not training after picking up a groin injury before the European Super Cup, and will only return after the international break. Nathaniel Clyne remains out for the long term with an ACL injury he sustained in pre-season.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Burnley:

Adrian, Gomez, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane

Burnley manager Sean Dyche is without Steven Defour, who is continuing his recovery from a calf operation. The Clarets will also have Robbie Brady (rib) and Johann Berg Gudmundsson (calf) missing for the game this evening.

Burnley’s Predicted XI:

Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Pieters, Lennon, Cork, Westwood, McNeil, Wood, Barnes

At the bookies, Liverpool are 4/11 to win at Unibet while a draw is 9/2 with Betfred. A victory for Burnley is 9/1 at BetVictor.
