A photo that apparently shows Nike’s first away kit for Liverpool has leaked online. The teal colour does correlate with claims about the home kit, which has a “teal trimming” according to some recent reports.
The reaction to the image from Liverpool fans on Twitter has not been particularly positive, to say the least:
Cheers son's crying. Nice one

Whether the shirt turns out to be genuine, we shall have to wait and see, but Nike’s obsession with adding teal to away shirts is something that cannot be denied.
Inter Milan’s Nike Away shirt this season is teal, as was Tottenham’s away kit in the 2018/19 campaign. Barcelona have also been given a number of teal coloured away strips over the past few years.
Liverpool supporters won’t have to wait too long to find out whether this photo is real or not, with Nike officially taking over as the club’s kit manufacturer on June 1st.
