Chelsea And Arsenal Stars Both Hand Out Praise As Liverpool Target Makes His Mark At The World Cup

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount and Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka have both praised Liverpool target Jude Bellingham after he scored his first goal for England against Iran yesterday afternoon.

The 19-year-old bagged the opener as the Three Lions secured a comfortable 6-2 win in their first World Cup group match, and he took to Instagram following the game:

In response to the post, Mount said “love it you” while Saka commented, “serious man” with both recognising Bellingham’s contribution to the victory.

Bellingham’s performance has already led BBC pundit Alan Shearer to predict that it is “only a matter of time” before he joins a Premier League club.

His current team, Borussia Dortmund, are said to have slapped a €150m (£130m) price tag on the midfielder so Liverpool will have to seriously push the boat out if they want to sign him. Based on recent evidence, though, he could be well worth it.
