Club Make ‘Desperate Attempt’ To Keep 132M Rated Bundesliga Star From Joining Liverpool

Borussia Dortmund have made a final “desperate attempt” to keep midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to the Daily Mail.

The likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are all circling ahead of the summer when the England international is likely to leave the Bundesliga side.

However, Dortmund are trying to keep Bellingham by tempting him with a £13m a year (£250,000 a week) contract extension.

Whether such an offer will persuade the teenager to stay in Germany, we shall have to wait and see, but most reliable sources believe that he will seek a transfer at the end of the season.

Dortmund are clearly doing all they can to retain Bellingham’s services but if he does press for a move, they are expected to slap a sky-high price tag on the player.

Most reports suggest a fee in the region of €150m (£132m) may be needed for Dortmund to sell the 19-year-old.
