Liverpool could be prepared to sell Rhian Brewster if a club makes a bid in the region of £20m for the 20-year-old, according to reports in the UK.
It has previously been claimed that the Reds would be prepared to loan out the striker, but it is thought that interested clubs like Sheffield United, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace now also believe he could be signed on a permanent basis.
Supporters on Twitter were quick to question the story with many believing Liverpool would be making a massive mistake if they allowed Brewster to be sold:
Complete joke if we permanently sell him

We can not sell Brewster at this stage. He has so much potential. A loan to Crystal Palace would be a great move for him imo. He’ll get plenty of game time, gain PL experience and will be back in London which is a bonus for him.

I think selling him would be one the worst decision in the Klopp era
Hopefully it's false if not we will regret it massively— Ameen (@Ameen_LFC) September 7, 2020
Don't think he would be sold, on loan for a season maybe!

The Reds are in need of the money to raise funds for other transfers, but, it must be said, that the large majority of journalists who have sources inside Anfield believe the England Under 21 international is only available on loan.
We should know more about Brewster’s future very soon with reports suggesting a decision will be made after he returns from international duty.
