Liverpool will be looking to continue their strong start in the Premier League by making it four wins from four when they travel to face Aston Villa tomorrow.

Alisson Becker will be back in goal after being rested for the Carabao Cup game against Arsenal. In defence, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk are expected to start at centre-back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson on the flanks.

In midfield, captain Jordan Henderson is not fit enough to start, so Fabinho will likely occupy the holding midfield role, with Georginio Wijnaldum and Naby Keita either side of the Brazilian. Thiago Alcantara is still not available.

With the news that Sadio Mane has tested positive for COVID-19, the likeliest replacement is Diogo Jota, who has impressed since making his move from Wolves. Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah are expected to take up the other two forward positions.
