Dixon Expects Liverpool To Have A “Wobble Month” Despite Almost Flawless Start To The Season

Former Arsenal full-back Lee Dixon has warned Liverpool that there are still a few twists and turns in the title race to come before the end of the campaign.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have dropped just two points in their first 12 games of the Premier League season, but the TV pundit is expecting there to be wobble at some point which could let Manchester City back into the reckoning:

“I think there’s still a bit to go yet There’s still the wobble month coming up. Not now but later on in the season and it’s possibly going to be the only thing that derails Liverpool, in that they’ve still not won it.”

“It’s going to build and build and we will make sure it builds and builds, the media and everything will get on their back and go ‘come on, we want to see a wobble’ because we want to see it go into the last few weeks of the season.”

Dixon is a Manchester City fan, despite his long playing career with the Gunners, so it is no surprise that he would be hoping for the Reds to start losing a few games.

With Liverpool expected to play nine matches in December, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Merseyside club do drop a few points as there are simply too many games in such a short period of time.

Even so, the lead that the Reds have already established over their rivals should give them a good enough cushion to have a healthy lead going into the winter break in January.
