‘Embarrassing’ ‘For God’s Sake’ Liverpool Fans Despair After Klopp Confirms Latest Injury Setbacks

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that not one of the ten players currently out injured will return to face Manchester United this evening.

The likes of James Milner (muscular), Naby Keita (knock) and Ben Davies (muscular) weren’t expected to be out for that long but it appears they will all be absent for the game at Old Trafford.

Supporters on Twitter are not happy about the latest injury update, with many concerned by the implications it may have for the Reds’ team selection:

This season has been Liverpool’s worst for injuries in living memory. Klopp also confirmed that both captain Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk won’t play again this season, meaning there are four key players, including Joel Matip and Joe Gomez, who have spent the large part of the season out injured.

With their prospects of finishing in the Champions League places hanging by a thread already, they will also go into tonight’s game against United with a decimated squad.
