Emre Can hails “unbelievable” Liverpool front three

Liverpool’s Emre Can has jumped to praise his side’s front-three, saying he believes the trio have the ability to score at will.

The trio of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane were all on the scoresheet again at the weekend during the 4-1 victory over West Ham, taking their total to the season to 22, 31 and 13 respectively.

Their combined total of 66 make them Europe’s second most prolific triplet, behind only PSG, where Edinson Cavani, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have managed 69 goals collectively.

And Can, who opened the scoring against the Hammers at the weekend, has praised what he calls the “unbelievable” trio, saying the Reds now go into every game confident they can outscore their opponents.

Can’s future is very much in the air as his Liverpool contract ends this summer and he will be focused on playing for his country Germany who are looking like close favourites to win according to football betting sites.

The midfielder told Liverpool’s official club website: “It’s amazing. The front three can score in every game at any minute. It’s unbelievable how good they are.“They did it again. We are always happy if they can score and we win.

“I’m happy that I could score – because we trained it and I scored like that. It’s always good when you train something and score like that.

“I’m happy, of course, when I can score and help the team.”
