Fabinho And Tsimikas To Start, Milner And Robertson Out: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Take On Bournemouth

Poor individual performances and a bad game plan led to Liverpool’s surprise defeat against Manchester United on Monday night.

Injuries, however, mean manager Jurgen Klopp is limited in what he can do to change personnel when the Reds face Bournemouth at Anfield this weekend.

Alisson Becker will start in goal, with Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk as the two centre-backs. Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to be given the nod at right-back but there could be a change on the opposite flank.

Andy Robertson hasn’t looked himself since the beginning of the campaign and perhaps being dropped will help him regain his focus. Kostas Tsimikas could come in to replace him.

Fabinho is likely to be recalled, with James Milner making way. Jordan Henderson and Harvey Elliott will make up the rest of the midfield.

Up front, Roberto Firmino will again lead the line in the absence of Darwin Nunez, with Luis Diaz and Mo Salah playing either side of him.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Bournemouth:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Tsimikas, Elliott, Fabinho, Henderson, Salah, Firmino, Diaz
