‘Finally A Good Looking Kit’ ‘Love This’ ‘Reminds Me Of The 2017/18 Season’ Fans React As Liverpool Unveil New Shirt

Liverpool have released pictures of the club’s new home shirt for the 2023/24 season ahead of its official release on May 18th.

Kit manufacturers, Nike, have taken inspiration from the kit that was worn in Bill Shankly’s last season in charge 50 years ago, with a white round collar and cuffs.

It seems that most Reds supporters on Twitter are happy with the new design, with many feeling that it is an improvement on Nike’s previous efforts since taking over from New Balance in 2020:

As well as having a striking resemblance to the 1973/74 kit, there are also similarities to the Reebok-designed 1998-2000 home jersey and, to a lesser extent, the 2017/18 shirt.

It’s fair to say that Nike have struggled to win over supporters with some of their design choices, even though shirt sales have been very strong, but it appears as if their latest attempt will go down very well with the vast majority of the fanbase.
