Liverpool pair Sadio Mane and Thiago Alcantara will both be available for the Merseyside derby against Everton on Saturday, according to the Mirror‘s David Maddock. The two players have returned to training after finishing their quarantines for COVID-19.
Although Naby Keita’s participation is in doubt as he awaits the results of a second test to see whether he has picked up the virus, supporters on Twitter are delighted that the Reds will have, at least, two key stars back for the game at Goodison Park this weekend:
Finally some good news.

That’s massive news for us, Mane will allow us to pressure Coleman or Kenny on the right and Thiago can set the pace! This is going to be a weird season mind

My guess Depending on fitness – Thiago probably on the bench. Hendo, Gini and Fab to start. Joey G in defense. Don’t think Klopp will tinker too much especially as he’s not had the time to work with the players.

With captain Jordan Henderson also expected to be ready to start after being given minutes for England on international duty, Liverpool’s injury crisis is beginning to clear up somewhat.
Fans will, though, remain concerned about the absence of Alisson Becker, who is expected to miss the next month due to a shoulder injury he picked up in training. Adrian is likely to deputise in goal once again despite his poor performance against Aston Villa last time out.
