Liverpool’s official Twitter account have shared photos of forward Diogo Jota stepping up his recovery from a knee injury.
The Portuguese international has not played since mid-December but the club have shown images of the player back on the training pitch as he builds up his fitness.
Jota started his Anfield career in stunning fashion, with nine goals in 17 games, and his goal threat has been sorely missed in recent weeks when the Reds have struggled to put the ball in the back of the net. Fans are understandably happy that the 24-year-old could be back in action soon:
Finally!

It’s likely that he is still, at least, a couple of weeks away from being available for selection again so any supporters hoping that he’ll be ready for Sunday’s match versus Manchester City shouldn’t get too excited.
The first leg of the Champions League knockout tie against RB Leipzig or the Merseyside derby later this month may be more realistic return dates.
