Paris Saint Germain contacted the representative of Liverpool forward Mo Salah last month as they line up a possible bid for the player, according to Telefoot.
The French TV channel says that “first contacts” were “established” with the player as the Ligue One champions are keen to find a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is now expected to leave the Parc des Princes this summer:
Mais la piste privilégiée par les dirigeants du PSG au Qatar est celle menant à Mohamed Salah, sous contrat avec Liverpool jusqu’en 2023

Salah is believed to be the leading candidate ahead of Tottenham’s Harry Kane, who manager Mauricio Pochettino would like to link up with again. Lionel Messi is also being considered if he leaves Barcelona on a free transfer.
An approach for Salah would put the Reds in a difficult situation. The former Chelsea player has spoken out about his future in the press recently, with many believing he is putting pressure on the club to hand him a new contract, with his current deal expiring in 2023.
Undoubtedly, PSG’s involvement will complicate matters further and there is likely to be more developments in the coming months.
