FPL: Three Liverpool Players To Consider Adding To Your Fantasy Football Premier League Team

Ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season, Liverpool appear to be in something of a transitional period, with several incomings and outgoings at the club.

At the same time, fantasy football players are working hard to put the finishing touches on their teams before the upcoming campaign kicks off.

It is always nice if you can include some players from your own team in your fantasy football squad – if that’s what you’d like to do, here are three Liverpool players we’d recommend putting in.

We’ve included Liverpool players from each part of the pitch – defenders, midfielders and strikers – in this list.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Some may see this as a hard sell. Not only does Trent Alexander-Arnold collect a relatively measly amount of clean sheets, he is also the most expensive defender in the game at £8.0.

However, where Alexander-Arnold’s worth comes is in his ability to collect assists and goals. Being one of the best set-piece takers in the world, this is always a reliable source of points.

Moreover, as Jurgen Klopp seems keen for the England international to play in more advanced positions, this tally could theoretically increase next season.

Darwin Nunez

Darwin Nunez has been a polarising figure since his arrival in the Premier League. While still raw, his physical attributes and impressive movement make him a very promising prospect.

After a shaky start, the Uruguayan began to make fewer and fewer mistakes as the season went on. Hypothetically, if he can continue to improve, he could be a force to be reckoned with next season.

In addition to this, Nunez isn’t too expensive, either – on the official Premier League website, he has an FPL cost of £7.5 next season.

Mohamed Salah

This should not come as too much of a surprise – the legendary Mohamed Salah was always going to top a list of this ilk. At £12.5, he isn’t cheap – but likewise, he is also more than worth it.

Last season, the Egyptian was Liverpool’s top goalscorer, as he found the back of the net 19 times – he also notched up an impressive tally of 13 assists.

Salah accumulated a score of 239 FPL points in the Premier League’s fantasy football game last season – if you can afford him, Salah will be a cornerstone of your squad.
