Georginio Wijnaldum, Sadio Mane

Liverpool’s victory in Munich should give the players a tremendous boost heading into Sunday’s game against Fulham.

The Cottagers are onto their third manager of the season, with Scott Parker now in caretaker charge, but results have not improved so far following defeats to Chelsea and Leicester City.

Jurgen Klopp will likely be without captain Jordan Henderson for the game at Craven Cottage. The midfielder twisted his ankle in the opening minutes of the 3-1 win over Bayern.

Joe Gomez is still on course to return to first-team action after the international break with his rehabilitation from a fractured leg progressing well.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s recovery from a knee injury has not been as smooth. He pulled up with a hamstring problem 41 minutes into his comeback for the Under 23s last week, but it appears he was taken off only as a precautionary measure.

Naby Keita missed the win midweek after sustaining a knock, but he is expected to recover in time for the weekend.

Fulham could have Andre Schurrle back in contention. The German forward missed the 3-1 defeat to Leicester due to a virus. Reserve keeper Marcus Bettinelli remains sidelined with a knock, while Alfie Mawson is out for the long term with a knee injury.

Bookmakers have made Liverpool favourites to get the three points on Sunday. They are 7/25 at Unibet with a draw best priced at 6/1 with Bet365. A Fulham victory is 12/1 at Betfred.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Fulham
