Gary Neville Reserves Special Praise For Liverpool After “Out Of This World” Season

Anfield Stadium

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has given top marks to Liverpool for their start to the season after dropping just two points in their opening 17 league fixtures.

The former Manchester United defender says the Reds have been pretty flawless in how they have gone about their business so far this campaign:

“A+…they’ve been out of this world. The performances and the lack of points dropped.”

You can’t argue with Neville if you look at the stats. 42 goals scored, just 14 conceded, with sixteen wins and just one draw. It is not something anyone would have predicted at the start of the season.

Just looking at the betting odds for whose favourite for the Premier League title, kind of tells you everything. They are 1/7 odds on to lift the trophy with Sky Bet.

Of course, things can change over the second half of the season, and manager Jurgen Klopp will be hoping no complacency creeps in, but as Neville says, the Merseyside club have hardly put a foot wrong so far.
