‘Genuinely Don’t Know Why We Don’t Go For Him’ ‘He’s Bad’ Fans Debate Whether Liverpool Should Sign Eredivisie Star With 30M Release Clause

With reports suggesting that Liverpool won’t be signing any more players this summer after Calvin Ramsay, supporters have been left rather frustrated that the club aren’t looking to recruit a midfielder.

After losing out on Aurelien Tchouameni to Real Madrid, there was an assumption that the Reds would seek out an alternative, but it seems manager Jurgen Klopp and sporting director Julian Ward are content to wait until the right target comes along.

However, fans on Twitter have been discussing a potential cheap solution to strengthen in the middle of the park. PSV Eindhoven’s Ibrahim Sangare reportedly has a €35m (£30m) release clause and there are those who feel he could be an option worth considering:

Other Premier League clubs have also been scouting Sangare, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle but, so far, no team has been tempted to make a move for the Ivorian international.

As some have mentioned, there are concerns about Sangare’s technical ability and that may lead to Liverpool steering clear of the player.
