Liverpool midfielder Fabinho could be back in contention when the Reds face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday, according to reports in the UK.
The Brazilian international has been sidelined with a muscular problem for the last three games. He last made an appearance in the 4-1 home defeat to Manchester City earlier this month.
Whether Fabinho will be fit to start against the Blades this weekend, it remains to be seen, but supporters on Twitter are just glad to hear that the 27-year-old could be available soon:

Need him back in midfield asap

If Klopp plays him in defense then he is lost. He is removing any form of leadership in the midfield which is becoming our downfall.

Fab in the midfield please i beg

Fab should not be back in the CB position again … CDM and free Thiago as CAM … and if Jota is back he should play 4-2-3-1
No need to put Fab again the the back line it is cursed— Khaled Hossam (@Khaled_Hossam85) February 23, 2021
The Brazilian will most likely be selected to play in the centre of defence by manager Jurgen Klopp when he does make his comeback. Although fans would prefer to see him in midfield, the groin injury suffered by captain Jordan Henderson means there is a lack of experience in the backline.
Ozan Kabak, Nat Phillips and Ben Davies all need someone to help them through games and Fabinho will be the only player fit to provide that guidance.
