‘Give The Man Time’ ‘Bring Him Back To Anfield’ Fans React As Ex Liverpool Star’s Struggles At New Club Continue

Former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane was substituted at halftime in Bayern Munich’s 2-1 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend.

Injury and poor form have meant that the 30-year-old has not scored in the Bundesliga since late October, prompting concerns about his performances.

Bayern are reportedly not happy with Mane’s contributions since arriving in Germany but many Liverpool fans on Twitter have been quick to defend him:

Mane did spend over two months on the sidelines with a leg injury, which hasn’t helped him settle in at this new club, but he has been fit and available since the end of February.

The Senegalese international is certainly not the only player who has left Anfield and gone on to struggle elsewhere. Georginio Wijnaldum had a disappointing spell at Paris Saint-Germain, while Divock Origi has not had the best of time in Italy with AC Milan.

You do feel that Mane has the quality to get through this difficult patch and we shall see how he performs between now and the summer.
