Gomez, Tsimikas And Firmino To Start, Trent Ruled Out: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Watford

Liverpool know they can go top with a win against Watford in the Saturday lunchtime kickoff, which should be more than enough motivation for them to put in a performance.

In terms of the starting eleven, Alisson will start in goal, but there could be some changes at fullback. Trent Alexander-Arnold is not expected to be fit to feature tomorrow so Joe Gomez will continue to deputise on the right-hand side.

On the left flank, Andy Robertson has only recently recovered from the virus so he may be kept in reserve for the midweek clash against Benfica, with Kostas Tsimikas taking his place. Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip are likely to start in the centre of defence.

In midfield, Jordan Henderson and Thiago are the two favourites to play alongside Fabinho. Naby Keita has picked up a knock so he won’t be in the starting eleven, while the likes of Harvey Elliott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Curtis Jones haven’t been in great form recently.

Up front, Luis Diaz may be rested along with Diogo Jota. Roberto Firmino was not on international duty so he could feature, along with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Watford:

Alisson, Gomez, Matip, van Dijk, Tsimikas, Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago, Salah, Firmino, Mane
