Liverpool have no interest in signing Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The local newspaper claims sources inside the club have rejected reports in Spain that the Reds could make a move to sign the 26-year-old during the summer transfer window:

Asensio is believed to be available for around €30m (£25m) as he has just a year left on his contract but the majority of fans on Twitter are glad that Liverpool won’t be pursuing the player:
Great news! Absolutely don’t want him at the club.

It does seem to be one of those rumours which resurfaces pretty regularly but from the looks of things, Liverpool won’t be making a bid for Asensio.
The Spaniard may be available relatively cheaply but his favoured position is on the right wing, and he is unlikely to want to play second fiddle to Mo Salah anyway.
With Asensio also said to be still in contract talks with Real Madrid, there is a strong possibility that his agent may simply be spreading the rumours in order to get a better deal for his client. He also been linked with AC Milan, Manchester United and Arsenal in recent weeks.
