“Haven’t Seen A Full Back…” Fabregas Issues Glowing Verdict After Witnessing What Liverpool Star Did Against Palace

Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas was full of praise for Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold following his display against Crystal Palace last night.

The Reds may have been held to a 1-1 draw by the Eagles but Fabregas was extremely impressed with Alexander-Arnold’s passing range, which he compared to his ex-Barcelona teammate Dani Alves:

While Alexander-Arnold put in a good performance on Monday evening, it wasn’t enough to help his side get the three points. The sending off of Darwin Nunez in the second half certainly didn’t help matters but Palace came to defend, and exploited situations on the counter-attack.

After two draws from their opening two fixtures, Jurgen Klopp’s side are already playing catch-up on Manchester City so getting a first victory on the board when they travel to face Manchester United next week is very important.

If Alexander-Arnold can maintain his level of play on the ball, as well as being secure defensively, he will be crucial to Liverpool’s chances of winning at Old Trafford.
