England midfielder Jude Bellingham put in a man-of-the-match performance as the Three Lions put three past Senegal in their World Cup last 16 tie.
The Liverpool target put in an excellent cross for Reds captain Jordan Henderson to score the opening goal and fans on Twitter are pleading for the club to bring him to Anfield:
He needs to be a red ❤️👌

Would be pathetic to let this wonderkid go to any other club than LFC. Whoever is the owner of us by the time the WCs over needs to put signing Bellingham as the #1 priority. He's best friends with Hendo and Trent, sees Stevie as his idol, is 19 and loves the club.

Considering Bellingham’s strong link-up play with Henderson and his friendship with Trent Alexander-Arnold, you do feel there is a good chance the Dortmund star will favour a switch to Merseyside.
However, a lot depends on the finances. If Dortmund stand firm on their reported €150m (£128.5m) asking price, it’s hard to see Liverpool meeting the valuation.
After Bellingham’s excellent performances at the World Cup, demand for his services will inevitably increase. Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have already been backed to challenge the Reds for the midfielder, and others could join the race for his signature before next summer.
