Henderson And Fabinho To Start, Mane On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is very frustrated with the short turnaround between the Atalanta game and the trip to Brighton tomorrow. The lunchtime kick-off means there will be just 64 hours between the two fixtures which makes recovery doubly difficult when you have so many injured players.

Alisson will start in goal at the Amex, with James Milner likely to move back to the right-hand side of defence with Joel Matip and Fabinho as the two centre-halves. Andy Robertson will be recalled to play at left-back after being rested midweek.

Jordan Henderson is back in full training so the captain is expected to line up alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and Curtis Jones in midfield, with the likes of Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all still unavailable.

Sadio Mane played the full 90 minutes on Wednesday night and has looked a bit jaded in the last few games. Klopp may opt to rest him, in order to play Diogo Jota from the left, with Roberto Firmino through the middle and Mo Salah on the right.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton:

Alisson, Milner, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Jones, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Jota
