Henderson And Nunez To Start, Konate And Jota On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton

Liverpool are gradually getting players back from injuries, but manager Jurgen Klopp could still be without a number of players ahead of Saturday’s game against Brighton.

Alisson will start in goal, but Andy Robertson is unlikely to be fit so Kostas Tsimikas is expected to keep his place at left-back with Trent Alexander-Arnold on the opposite flank.

Ibrahima Konate is back in full training following a knee injury, although he won’t be ready to face the Seagulls, so Joel Matip is expected to partner Virgil van Dijk in the centre of defence.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is available so he may replace Harvey Elliott, with Fabinho and Thiago taking up the other two midfield roles.

Jota had to be substituted for Portugal midweek due to fatigue so Darwin Nunez could lead the line, with Mo Salah and Luis Diaz either side of him.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Brighton:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Tsimikas, Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago, Salah, Nunez, Diaz
