‘He’s A Bargain’ ‘We Can Dream’ ‘If Only’ Liverpool Fans React As Midfield Target’s Valuation Is Set At 70M

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice could be sold for £70m next summer, according to reports in the English media.

Liverpool have been added to the long list of teams who are keeping tabs on the England international, as they look to strengthen their midfield.

Even though Rice’s valuation is now a lot more realistic (after previous reports suggested he could cost as much as £150m), fans on Twitter are split over whether the Reds would be prepared to shell out on the player:

The big elephant in the room is that Liverpool is up for sale. While FSG have reiterated their commitment to the club in the short term, it would be a surprise if they made sizeable sums available for transfers.

On top of that, Rice does have plenty of other suitors, with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City having also been linked with the 23-year-old. We shall see who emerges as the favourite for the Hammers talisman at the end of the season.
