Liverpool are reportedly one of the Premier League clubs interested in Sporting Lisbon midfielder Matheus Nunes.
Chelsea, Manchester City and Wolves have also been linked with the Portuguese international this summer, so the Reds would probably have to fight hard to secure his signature.
There has been a mixed reaction to the news on Twitter. Some fans believe that Nunes would be a good signing, while others are doubting whether Jurgen Klopp’s side are likely to bring in any more players before the transfer window closes:

Any additional movement depends on 2 factors, will the club receive a suitable bid that suits the club & Ox, we've had bids for Ox but he had zero interest in moving to Germany. The 2nd factor is the Naby situation, will he sign the new contract or decide to move on

At the moment, it does appear as if most rumours about Nunes are coming from Portugal. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, though, as Liverpool’s interest in Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez began in a similar fashion.
However, there has been no serious approach from the Reds for the 23-year-old at this stage, so supporters should not get their hopes up about this transfer.
