Scotland manager Steve Clarke has confirmed captain Andy Robertson is a doubt for today’s Nations League game against Slovakia.
The Liverpool defender picked up a hamstring injury in the match versus Serbia on Thursday but still played 120 minutes as Scotland won on penalties to progress to the European Championships next summer.
Following the injuries to Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk, Reds fans on Twitter are now worried that they may have their entire first-choice backline missing for the clash against Leicester City next weekend:

He said in the post match interview he was getting cramp so was hoping he wouldn't have to take a penalty so hopefully nothing too serious

Shouldn’t be playing any way the lads who got them through the other night should be told to go home and have a little rest

Not worth the risk. Keep him safe for Liverpool

The international break has been an absolute disaster for manager Jurgen Klopp. If Robertson’s injury keeps him sidelined, it would mean Liverpool have lost three key first-team players, after Mo Salah also tested positive for the virus.
Klopp may have to field a rather makeshift team when the Reds line up against the Foxes at Anfield next Sunday, which is far from ideal considering the strength of the opponent they will be facing.
