“I Think They’ll Do It…” Roy Keane Confidentally Predicts Who Will Win The PL Title Between Liverpool And City

Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane is expecting Manchester City to beat Liverpool to the Premier League title.

The former Manchester United captain predicted that Pep Guardiola’s side would finish top at the start of the season and, while he admits the Reds are an excellent team, he believes City will hold their nerve to be crowned champions:

“I can’t change my mind. I still think that City will do it. I think they’ve got great quality. I think Liverpool are fantastic of course. But I’ll stick with City, I just think they know how to get over the line. Pep, world class manager, I think they’ll do it.”

Keane is clearly not expecting the Citizens to slip up and that is not surprising, considering they do have a good track record of being frontrunners in a title race.

For Liverpool fans, though, they will be hoping and praying that Keane is wrong. A repeat of the 2018/19 season (when the Reds finished one point behind top spot) would be hard to take.

With four games to go, there are definitely pitfalls for both teams, with Liverpool facing Tottenham at home next up, while City still have a trip to West Ham, but Keane is firmly of the opinion that no mistakes will be made by the current league leaders.
