Liverpool continue to be “very interested” in signing Porto winger Luis Diaz, according to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra.
The reporter has reiterated previous claims that the Reds want to sign the 24-year-old but he insists that other teams are also keen, with Porto demanding a significant transfer fee:
🚨 #Liverpool está muy interesado en el extremo colombiano Luis Díaz (24) y quiere atarlo lo antes posible, pero no es el único club interesado
👀 En invierno #Porto lo venderá si pagan su cláusula (80M€). Sin embargo, para verano esa cifra se puede negociar/reducir a 50/60M€ pic.twitter.com/3p5hK9MkFG

Sierra has said in the past that Chelsea, Everton, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are also keeping tabs on Diaz, and it seems Liverpool would have to pay around €60m (£50.6m) for the player if they wait until next summer. Fans on Twitter are sceptical about the reports:
We played Porto, I wouldn’t pay 60m for their entire 1st team

Diaz may have scored 14 goals in 24 appearances this campaign, but there is a concern that he may simply be having an outstanding season, rather than being a top-quality player.
The Colombian international wasn’t particularly impressive against Liverpool in the Champions League. If he becomes available for a much lower price then it could be something worth considering,
