Ian Wright Makes Prediction About Kylian Mbappe Which Liverpool Fans Will Love

BBC pundit Ian Wright says he wouldn’t rule out Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe moving to Liverpool.

Reports in France suggest Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has been in contact with the Frenchman’s father, with it even being claimed he has spoken to the player himself about a possible switch to Anfield.

Wright believes Liverpool do now have the stature to attract a player of Mbappe’s calibre:

“You can definitely see that. If we’re talking about it now, I could see Mbappe at Liverpool but where would he fit into? I think Liverpool are at that level where Mbappe could go to.”

Mbappe is seemingly delaying on signing a new contract with PSG, with his current deal expiring in 2022, but a move to Merseyside is still a long shot.

The forward would command an exorbitant transfer fee which the Reds will not be able to afford, and it is also believed that the 21-year-old has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid if he leaves France.

Mbappe is, though, reportedly pleased to be linked with a transfer to Liverpool, which will give some supporters hope that the switch could happen sometime in the future.
