Liverpool are reportedly interested in Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko, along with a number of other clubs.
Chelsea, Manchester United, as well as the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and PSG are also believed to be very keen on signing the teenager, who could cost as much as €65m (£54m).
Supporters on Twitter are somewhat divided on whether the Reds would seriously consider making a move for Sesko:
I’d gladly take him

He’s not type of player we need, if Firmino was to leave in 12 months we should go for a winger or someone who can play false 9 like Martinez

I'd take this, he's got bags of potential and with Klopp I think he could become one of the best. He'd be a good option when we're struggling to throw him on and play with 2 strikers. But I do feel if we signed him it would either mean the end of Firmino or Firmino dropping to AM

50 mill no way

Sesko could well be seen as a replacement for Roberto Firmino but, with the Brazilian stating that he is happy to stay at Anfield this summer, a bid for Sesko may have to wait until next year.
If that happens then Liverpool’s chances of signing the 19-year-old are likely to be pretty slim, with the Slovenian being tipped to move before the transfer window closes. A number of teams, including United and Chelsea, are believed to have already held talks with the player’s agent.
