Liverpool supporters have been reacting to a recent Instagram photo of Daniel Sturridge, who has been building up some muscle in the gym.
The 31-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Turkish club Trabzonspor over a year ago, but he is trying to get in shape as he continues his search for a new club:

If fit he’d get 30 goals a season easy

Only 31 and a he’s free agent looking for a club.

Sturridge really could have gone down as a Liverpool great if he had managed to stay fit. The former Manchester City and Chelsea forward possessed natural finishing ability, which helped him to score 67 goals in 160 appearances for the Merseyside club.
However, injuries were always a major issue for Sturridge, and it was only in his first full season at the club that we truly saw the best of him. It is a big regret that he never managed to reproduce the exploits of the 2013/14 campaign.
