Images that purportedly show Liverpool’s new away shirt have leaked out online and it is fair to say that the reaction from supporters hasn’t been overly positive.
Nike have made the bold decision of going with a multicolour swirl marble design on a white background, with black trimming on the sleeves and a v-neck collar.
Fans on Twitter have been trying to understand what the kit manufacturers were going for with the shirt, but many are not liking the swirling patterns:

To be honest, it’s hard to see this jersey selling well. Going with brave design choices on an away kit is not uncommon but Nike may have taken it a step too far with this one.
There is a chance that it may look slightly less garish in real life and, if nothing else, it may provide a bit of a distraction when they come against some opponents next season!
